Supporting the Haifa Museums is vital for their development, exposing them to a larger audience and expanding current exhibitions. Your support will enable us to:

•          Preserve and cultivate the collections in the various museums (more than 70,000 items).
•          Bring new quality exhibitions to the museums from Israel and around the world.
•          Make the museums accessible to children from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds while encouraging them to consume culture and art.
•          Develop innovative educational programs for schools.
•          Produce content-rich catalogs and unique periodicals.
•          Develop a wide range of cultural community activities.

Friends of the Haifa Museums Association

The Friends of the Haifa Museums Association was established as a non-profit organization in 1983 in order to assist and participate in the establishment, organization, development and promotion of the museums and the city’s artistic and cultural activities.

The Friends Association acts as the honorary association of the Haifa Museums, helps promote their affairs and mobilize favorable public opinion, donors and volunteers. The Association functions in full transparency and formulates annual work plans and fundraising programs.

There are two ways to join the Association – by join the Fellows forum or theSupporters forum. Join the Friends Association to support and actively participate in promoting cultural activities in Haifa, their enrichment and dissemination.

American Friends of Museums in Israel

Haifa Museums is part of the American Friends of Museums in Israel which is headquartered in New York. Join, receive information and donate directly through the American Friends website at http://www.museumsinisrael.org/support.html.

Volunteers

Haifa Museums is happy to invite the general public to contribute its time and energy for the benefit of the various museums. Volunteer to the various departments, among them the libraries in the various museums, the curatorship departments (according to your areas of knowledge and interest), the marketing department, the various museum stores, the education department, tours and the collection management department. 

Volunteers will be reimbursed for public transportation expenses.

Donating Artwork and Photographs

Do you want to help us by donating an important work of art or photograph?

The Haifa museums staff invests significant efforts to enrich the various displays, collections and items. You can donate artwork, photographs and objects. These are important for preserving and documenting artistic objects from the past that are handled in the collection rooms as needed.
