Born in 1968 in Kagoshima Prefecture. He lives in Shiga and Akita Prefecture.

Tadasu Takamine began his artistic career in 1993 as a member of the dumb type group, famous for its "live" performances. On show at the exhibition is the video "God Bless America" (2002), showing Takamine and a friend relaxing in a red room - eating, sleeping and entertaining guests - that also contains a giant clay head resembling George Bush and singing the American patriotic song. An animation shows the transformation experienced by the bust. The clay head occupies almost the entire room and symbolizes the intrusion of political ideology into our daily lives.
