Dror Daum's art is born in photography, yet it expands the medium's concrete and conceptual boundaries and explores its place and meaning in an alienated post-digital world. Dror Daum's works engage with beauty and its disruption, the surface of the photograph, and the loss inherent to it and to the figures it wishes to fixate. In recent years Daum has been creating delicate and complex installations in an aesthetic and poetic, coherent and minimalistic language, based on passion and its disappearance.
