Born in Tel Aviv in 1968, lives and works in Tel Aviv.
Uriel Miron's works explore the relationship between sculpting, drawing, painting, and print. Miron creates amorphous large-scale sculptures, most of which are made of everyday materials composed into fantastic hybrids. Through the constant conflict in the material between flatness and three-dimensionality, the exposure of different layers composing it and embodying them, Miron manages to assemble and at the same time break apart the sculptural form, and create objects that contain life and movement that are exceptional in contemporary sculpture.
